In 2020 G.C., the company faced unexpected disruptions due to the conflict in the Tigray region, which impacted two of its active projects. These force majeure events not only affected project delivery but also caused significant financial strain. Nevertheless, ATC has remained steadfast in its commitment to overcome these challenges and resume and expand its infrastructure portfolio.

One of ATC’s key strengths lies in its machinery fleet, particularly in earth-moving and structural works equipment, crucial for road and bridge construction. The company maintains a comprehensive inventory of heavy-duty equipment, including:

• 10 Loaders (130 HP)
• 10 Excavators (247 HP)
• 3 Concrete Batching Plants (60 m³/hr)
• 2 Crusher Plants (200 tons/hr)
• 2 Asphalt Batching Plants (120 tons/hr)
• 1 Asphalt Paver (7 meters)
• 32 Dump Trucks

These assets are further supported by additional machinery resources from Gugsa Construction, Information and Communication Engineering Company PLC, a strategic Joint Venture (JV) partner.

With this combined capability, ATC is well-positioned to handle substantial soft excavation, embankment, concrete, and asphalt works annually—capabilities essential for any major highway development.
